PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Farmer screw for roofing on wooden substrates is designed for construction, roofing, and finishing applications. It is manufactured from electro-galvanized steel and supplied with a steel washer featuring an EPDM rubber sealing layer. The screw has a hexagonal head and self-drilling tip for quick and efficient installation.
The FD Farmer screw is suitable for fastening sheet metal and metal roofing tiles to wooden roof trusses and timber formwork. It can also be used for roof finishing, flashing, minor repairs, and fastening facade and cladding sheets.
The self-drilling tip enables quick installation, while the standard-size hexagonal head provides secure engagement with the appropriate socket. The EPDM sealing washer helps seal the fastening point and protect against moisture penetration. The screw is available in various lengths and diameters, with coloured head finishes available to match metal roofing tiles and finishing sheets.
