The Helios Low work shoe from the STALCO PERFECT line features an upper made of black, finely finished natural nubuck leather. Its suede-like texture ensures durability and adds an elegant appearance. For greater comfort, the integrated leather heel counter and closed heel provide stability and help maintain the correct position of the foot inside the shoe. This reduces fatigue, prevents chafing, and lowers the risk of ankle sprains. Reinforced, tear-resistant round polyester laces further improve comfort and stability.

The sole design plays an important role in the comfort and safety of Helios Low work footwear. It is manufactured using a two-stage injection process involving polyurethane (PU) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The PU inner layer provides durability and functionality, while TPU combines the properties of rubber and polyurethane. This helps prevent floor scratches while providing abrasion resistance, low weight, and flexibility.

The choice of materials and tread design provides high slip resistance in accordance with the SRC rating. The footwear maintains grip on metal and ceramic surfaces, including those covered with slippery substances. In addition, the sole is oil-resistant and resistant to wear. Its antistatic properties help prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charge on the wearer.

The footwear also incorporates several safety features. A Kevlar insert protects against punctures without using metal and offers better thermal comfort than metal inserts. A durable composite toe cap protects the toes against impacts from falling or protruding objects. The Anti-Shock system absorbs impacts while walking, helping protect the musculoskeletal system and joints. Reflective elements improve visibility in low-light conditions, with visibility of up to 150 metres under suitable conditions.

Natural Nubuck Leather – Characterised by a very short nap created by gently sanding the leather. Its pile is much shorter than that of suede. Nubuck is a refined type of leather known for its durable and high-quality finish.

Composite Toe Cap – A protective component located at the front of the shoe beneath the upper material. Its primary function is to protect the toes against injuries caused by impacts. It provides protection against impacts with an energy of at least 200 joules. Composite toe caps make footwear approximately 60 g lighter per pair than metal toe caps. They do not conduct heat or cold as readily as metal. When subjected to an impact, the material deforms to a certain extent and then returns towards its original shape.

Kevlar Insert – A special metal-free material that protects against punctures and is lighter than steel. It provides some thermal insulation, is highly flexible and elastic, and helps ensure comfort during use.

PU/TPU Sole – Two-Stage Injection of Polyurethane and Thermoplastic Polyurethane – Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) combines properties of rubber and polyurethane. The sole helps prevent scratches on surfaces, provides good slip resistance, and offers resistance to abrasion and cuts. It remains lightweight and flexible. The TPU tread combined with a foamed PU inner layer creates a sole that balances durability, functionality, and comfort.

SR/SRC Anti-Slip Sole – Designed to reduce the risk of slipping on ceramic surfaces coated with a cleaning solution and on steel surfaces coated with glycerol, in accordance with the applicable test classification.

Oil-Resistant Sole – Provides resistance to diesel fuel.

Antistatic Sole – Helps prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charge on the wearer.

Closed Heel – Provides support and stability to the rear of the foot, helping reduce unwanted twisting.

Anti-Shock System – Absorbs impact, helping reduce vibrations and stress on the joints and spine for greater walking comfort.

Increased Water Resistance – Helps keep the footwear dry in damp environments. Recommended for construction workers and others who need durable protective footwear for use in wet weather, including rain and snow.

Built-in Leather Heel Counter – Helps protect the heel against chafing and calluses. It also helps prevent the foot from slipping and protects the shoe's inner material from damage.
