The upper of the THURO LOW S1 is made of natural embossed split cowhide leather. The high-quality leather is covered with an additional polymer coating that emphasizes its natural structure and provides effective protection.

The sole is made of polyurethane using a two-stage injection process. The harder outer layer provides high resistance to abrasion and cuts, while the softer inner layer improves comfort, flexibility and shock absorption. The sole is oil-resistant, antistatic and provides SRC slip resistance.

The THURO LOW S1 STALCO work shoe has been designed with comfort in mind. The soft natural leather provides a comfortable fit, while the built-in leather heel counter prevents excessive foot movement, reduces the risk of abrasions and helps protect the inner material of the shoe. Riveted loops make lacing and unlacing easier and help prevent the laces from fraying. The PU-coated toe increases resistance to abrasion and extends the shoe's service life.

Foot protection is a key feature of the THURO LOW S1. The metal toe cap protects the toes against impacts with an energy of at least 200 J, making the footwear suitable for demanding working environments. Natural, embossed split cowhide leather – During production, cowhide is split into two layers: the outer grain layer and the second layer, known as split leather. This natural material is embossed and covered with a polymer coating, giving it an appearance similar to full-grain leather.

Metal Toe Cap – A protective component located at the front of the shoe underneath the upper material. It protects the toes against serious injuries caused by accidents and withstands impacts with an energy of at least 200 J.
