The OPŚ worm clamps are designed for quick and easy fastening of industrial hoses and flexible conduits during installation work and other applications. The clamp consists of a 9 mm wide metal band and a tightening lock. The tightening mechanism is operated by a hex-head screw with an additional cross-slot. The screw and lock are electro-galvanized, and the band is coated with an Al-Zn layer.
Worm clamps are ideal for securely fastening rubber hoses to fittings in water, air, and gas installations, as well as in automotive applications. The clamp is placed over the hose surface and, when tightened, presses it onto the inserted connection element. The worm mechanism in a compact lock housing and the embossed thread in the smooth inner band ensure a secure clamp. Rounded edges protect the hose surface from damage.
Worm clamps are installed using a PH2 screwdriver or a 7 mm wrench, which operate the tightening lock. The same mechanism allows the clamp to be tightened or loosened.
