Sinterklaas 2026: Piet's gift tips under €10 for in the shoe
The holidays are coming, get ready! Sinterklaas is almost here, followed by Christmas and New Year's Eve. It's already very busy in the house of the Piets, because Piet is putting together his wish lists. This year Piet gets lots of his presents at Saniso: more than 5000 products there fit in a shoe, and the full range is many times bigger. Below you can read what Piet is putting in his sack, and everything costs less than €10.
What is a good shoe gift for a DIY fan?
According to Piet, a good shoe gift is small, handy and actually gets used. That's why he likes to choose tools that belong in every toolbox. Gifts like these don't disappear into a drawer, they come along on every job.

Piet's tip: put the small gifts from this blog in the toolbox. With the screwdriver, the bits, the pliers, the hammer and the tape measure added, your child has a complete starter set for their first home right away.
Does a good gift have to cost €10?
Not at all! According to Piet, a gift doesn't even have to cost €10. With STALCO quality, something small already makes people happy: a combination wrench of €1.68 quickly feels like a ten-euro gift. That leaves Piet room in his sack for chocolate letters.
How many gifts do you get for €10?
Quite a lot, Piet has calculated! The combination wrench, the bits and the screwdriver together cost €5.39. Add the tape measure and you're at €9.07: four gifts, with enough left over for a bag of pepernoten.
Which tools fit in a shoe?
Piet tested it: the screwdriver, the bits, the wrench and the tape measure fit easily in a shoe. The pliers and the hammer need a size bigger, otherwise Piet just puts them next to it.
Which other gifts can you find at Saniso?
Plenty! At Saniso you'll find more than 5000 products that fit in the shoe, and much, much more beyond that: tiles, sanitary ware, showers, bathroom accessories and more. One condition for the shoe: it has to fit. So a rain shower or a box of tiles gets tricky, even for the strongest Piet. For those gifts you'd better clear a spot next to the fireplace.
Does your Sinterklaas gift have to come from Spain?
Sinterklaas comes all the way from Spain every year, but Piet doesn't have to haul everything along on the steamboat. Saniso has thousands of products in stock in the Netherlands, ready to be wrapped. That way Piet's sack is full before Sinterklaas even arrives, and there's more room on the boat for pepernoten.
What is the delivery time at Saniso?
Order on a workday before 15:00? Then your order is delivered the next workday, as long as it fits in a parcel. Pallet shipments have a different delivery time. Is Piet running late with a surprise? No panic: ordered in time means at home tomorrow.
Are STALCO tools good?
STALCO works with steel types such as CrV and S2 and gives its tools ergonomic handles. That makes them suitable for both the DIY enthusiast and the professional.
