PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Fibermesh Anti-Scratch Tape for Drywall is a specialized self-adhesive fiberglass mesh designed to reinforce joints between drywall (GK) panels. It helps prevent cracking and surface damage at joints while improving joint durability and supporting a smooth, aesthetically pleasing finish. Its fiberglass structure increases the mechanical strength of joints and reduces the risk of plaster or filler loosening. The tape is resistant to moisture and easy to apply, making it a practical solution for drywall systems. The adhesive layer is intended only to facilitate application and is not designed to provide permanent fixation.
APPLICATION:
The tape is designed for reinforcing joints between plasterboard panels, particularly in areas exposed to stress and prone to cracking. It can also be used for minor repairs to wall and ceiling surfaces. The tape should be embedded into joint filler or plaster and, after drying, covered with a smooth finishing layer to achieve a uniform and even surface. The adhesive layer serves to hold the tape in place during application and is not intended as a permanent fixing medium.
