Nylon mesh sleeve is a complementary component of the chemical anchor fixing system. It is made of nylon, a material that is more flexible and stretchable than polyester. The perforated surface structure of the sleeve enables a form-fit connection with the wall and the non-load-bearing layer of the substrate (air voids) while allowing economical use of the mortar.
The mesh sleeve is an essential product that facilitates the installation of a threaded rod in porous substrates. It reinforces the anchor and is used for anchoring in hollow bricks, perforated blocks, and hollow-core blocks.
Nylon sleeves for chemical anchors are equipped with a centering cap that keeps the anchor rod aligned and prevents the mortar from leaking out of the sleeve, especially when anchors are installed in ceilings.
