Speedline Mesh Tape is a high-quality self-adhesive fiberglass mesh tape made from composite fiberglass threads. It features a water-based acrylic adhesive, a strong woven structure and high tensile strength. The tape is designed for reinforcing joints in plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard, as well as for bridging cracks during plaster repair work.
The strong adhesive properties and durable woven structure provide reliable reinforcement and help prevent cracking in joints and repaired surfaces.

Speedline Mesh Tape is suitable for reinforcing and sealing joints in plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard and for bridging cracks during plaster repair work.

Speedline Mesh Tape is suitable for reinforcing both longitudinal joints and butt joints.
Substrate Preparation
Before applying the tape, thoroughly remove old, dusty, dirty and loose plaster and paint layers. Remove grease and other contaminants.
The substrate must be sound and stable, and free from dust, loose particles, formwork oil, moisture and other contaminants that could negatively affect adhesion.
Application
Speedline Mesh Tape is applied directly to the prepared substrate.
- Unroll the required length of tape.
- Apply the tape to the joint or crack.
- Press the tape firmly onto the substrate.
- Ensure that the substrate is clean, dry, dust-free and grease-free.
- Continue with the appropriate joint filler or finishing material.
Minimum application temperature: +5°C.
Before application, mask off any building elements that should not be treated using paper and adhesive tape.
