How big a carpenter’s clamp do I need?
Measure the widest part of your workpiece, then choose an opening at least that wide. After that, pick depth and the kg figure for how deep and how hard you need to clamp. The 470 kg / 120 mm models share force and depth — only opening changes.
I need 300 mm opening — do I pick the deeper clamp or the lighter one?

What’s the difference between the 150 mm and 250 mm small clamps?
S012870515 has a 150 mm opening; S012870525 has a 250 mm opening. Both are 50 mm deep with 170 kg clamping force.
Carpenter’s clamp or spring clamp — which do I need?
A carpenter’s clamp (long bar, screw handle) spans wide glue-ups and holds pressure until the joint sets. A spring clamp is a different type: short reach, spring jaws, handy for light temporary holds — not a substitute for these eight STALCO long-bar models.
