TEXSO self-drilling screws are designed for connecting steel elements, including profiles and hangers used in drywall construction, as well as for fastening steel sheets and components in air-conditioning installations. They are suitable for connecting steel elements with a combined thickness of up to 2 × 0.6 mm and can drill through steel up to 1.0 mm thick. The sharp tip enables quick installation without pre-drilling, helping to improve efficiency during assembly work.
The screws feature a flat, countersunk head that sits flush with the surface of the mounted profile, reducing the risk of stress that could cause plasterboard cracking after installation. Their high strength ensures stable and durable connections, helping prevent unwanted movement of steel profiles. The galvanic zinc coating provides increased corrosion resistance, making the screws suitable for dry interiors and areas with increased humidity. The deep PH2 Phillips recess ensures secure bit engagement and efficient installation, including when using bits equipped with a depth stop.
