Cersanit at Saniso: tiles and sanitaryware from a reliable brand
Tiles, a concealed frame, a wall-hung toilet, a vanity unit: a bathroom project brings many parts together, and they all have to fit. Cersanit is a brand you will find in almost every part of the bathroom. This brand blog explains who Cersanit is, what Saniso offers from this brand and how to choose and combine the parts sensibly.
Cersanit
Cersanit is a Polish brand of bathroom products, with tiles and sanitaryware for the complete bathroom.
Who is Cersanit?
Cersanit is a Polish manufacturer of bathroom products. According to the company, the group makes and sells sanitary ceramics, ceramic tiles, shower enclosures, acrylic baths and shower trays, bathroom furniture and bathroom accessories. The focus is therefore on the complete bathroom, from wall and floor to toilet, furniture and tap.
That has a practical advantage for DIYers and professionals alike: many parts come from the same product family. Frames, flush plates, toilets and seats are matched to each other, and with vanity units, taps and tiles you will find recurring collections and colours. That makes choosing and combining easier to follow.
Cersanit at Saniso: what you will find
Saniso, the online DIY and building store, presents Cersanit on two brand pages. The Cersanit page holds the bathroom range: bathroom furniture, toilets and bidets, shower enclosures and taps. The Cersanit Ceramic Tiles page bundles the wall and floor tiles, in styles such as wood, stone, geometric patterns, floral patterns, plain colours and outdoor tiles. Prefer to browse by category? Tiles
The Cersanit tiles cover a wide range of styles. A few examples: the light stone-look Foggy Night White 60 × 60 with its matching mosaic 30 × 30, the grey large-format tiles Terrino Light Grey 60 × 120 and Liv Terria Grey 60 × 120, and the wood-look Kind Wood Natural. On each product page you will find the finish, size, slip-resistance class and the contents of a pack, among other details.
Concealed frames, wall-hung toilets and flush plates
For a wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern there are two frames for dry installation: the Aqua 50 Pneu QF and the System 50 Pneu. Both are 50 cm wide, have an outlet bend with four-step depth adjustment and support dual flush. You will also find complete sets, such as Set C21 (Aqua 50 with an oval Larga wall-hung toilet) and Set C16 (Aqua 50 with a square City wall-hung toilet). Both sets include a CleanOn (rimless) wall-hung toilet with hidden fixings and a soft-close toilet seat. Looking for a compact wall-hung pan? Take a look at the Cersanit Vortex Compact: rimless, with deep flush, a soft-close seat and fixings included.
For the flush plate there are, among others, the sleek Movi II Plain and the pneumatic Accento Circle, and for the seat the Zen by Cersanit Slim with soft-close and Easy-Off.
Furniture, taps and shower
Among the bathroom furniture you will find the Mille by Cersanit Slim 60 washbasin cabinet with two pull-out drawers and the Moduo 60 wall cabinet for small bathroom accessories. Taps such as the Luna by Cersanit washbasin tap go with them, and for the shower there is, for example, the Tako shower tray. Always check the product page for current sizes, colours and variants.

Tips: how to choose the right tiles
- Start with the space. A small toilet or a narrow bathroom calls for different choices than a spacious kitchen-diner. Large formats, such as 60 × 120 cm, give few grout lines and a calm look. Smaller formats and mosaic suit curved shapes, a shower niche or a feature wall.
- Check wall or floor. Each product page states whether the tile is suitable for wall, floor or both. For a wet floor the slip-resistance class matters: the product pages show, for example, R10 for Foggy Night and Kind Wood, R10b for Liv Terria and R9 for Terrino. For a shower floor or outdoor area choose a class that fits the use and ask for advice if in doubt.
- Look at rectified or not. A rectified tile is cut to size and is uniform, so you can work with narrower grout lines. Foggy Night, Terrino and Liv Terria are rectified, the wood-look Kind Wood is not. That determines how you plan the grout width.
- Allow for tonal variation. With many stone-look tiles the pattern differs from tile to tile, as with natural stone. Mix tiles from several boxes and lay them out dry before you start gluing.
- Combine matching parts. A collection often has more than one tile. With Foggy Night you will find mosaic, skirting and step treads next to the wall tile. A collection gives you unity of colour and texture without having to match everything yourself.
- Allow extra. The product page gives the contents of a pack in m². Allow generously for cutting waste and keep a few tiles for later repairs.

Tips: combining concealed frame, wall-hung toilet and flush plate
A wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern is more than a nice pan. You choose the frame, the toilet, the flush plate and the seat. These points help:
- Choose the frame first. The frame determines the build depth and the drain. Both the Aqua 50 and the System 50 are 50 cm wide frames with an outlet bend with four-step depth adjustment; both support dual flush. The product page has the details and the warranty terms.
- Consider a complete set. A set such as C21 or C16 bundles frame, toilet and seat in one choice. That saves searching and you know the parts belong together. In the buying guide for rimless wall-hung toilet sets you can read more about what to check with such a set.
- Rimless is easier to keep clean. A rimless toilet, such as the CleanOn models in the sets and the Vortex Compact, has no flush rim where dirt builds up. For the Vortex Compact, the product page mentions a deep-flush system that uses a small amount of water.
- Mind the flush plate. A plate such as Movi II Plain or Accento Circle has to fit the frame and your style. According to its product page the Accento Circle is pneumatic and compatible with the Aqua Pneu concealed systems. Both plates also work with toilet fresheners in rimless toilets.
- Don't forget the seat. A soft-close seat with Easy-Off, such as the Zen by Cersanit Slim, closes gently and is easy to remove for cleaning. Check that the seat fits the shape of your wall-hung toilet.
- Plan ahead, before the tiling. Frame, drain and water connection end up behind the wall. Measure the available space beforehand and fix the frame in place before the wall is tiled. In doubt about the connection? Have an installer do it. You can read more about the frame in our blog on the Cersanit concealed frame.
Tips: matching furniture, tap and shower
- Measure the unit in the room. A slim cabinet such as the Mille Slim 60 fits a small bathroom. The product page mentions two pull-out drawers suitable for a flat trap, soft-close and a flat-pack kit.
- Choose the tap to suit the unit and basin. The Luna washbasin tap in chrome is a tall model and therefore suits countertop basins. Match the finish (for example chrome, black or brushed copper) with the flush plate and accessories.
- Choose the shower tray to suit the space. The Tako shower tray is only 4 cm high and made of acrylic with a double reinforcement of resin and fibreglass. A low profile is handy if you want to keep the shower area as flat as possible.

Three combinations to choose from
Light and calm
Wall tiles in white or light grey, a white washbasin cabinet and a white flush plate. Think of Foggy Night White with the Mille Slim 60 and the Movi II Plain in white. A calm whole in which you can play with accents, such as a mosaic strip.
Stone and texture
Large grey stone-look tiles for wall and floor, such as Terrino or Liv Terria, with an anthracite unit and black or brushed taps. When combining, compare the shades in the room itself, preferably with a sample and in the light of your bathroom.
Warm with wood
A wood-look tile such as Kind Wood Natural on the floor, a light wall tile and a cabinet in a warm or light colour. For a toilet or small bathroom this is an inviting way to warm up the room.

A rimless toilet has no inner flush rim. That leaves fewer hidden places where dirt can stay and makes the pan easier to clean.
